Supervision: Approved IFS Clinical Consultant
Starting a mental health career or learning new techniques and therapeutic approaches during your career as a psychotherapist can be challenging. There is still so much to learn about the models that inform our work and our reactions, emotions, and feelings, that are activated while in session with our clients. As therapists, we need to be grounded, self-aware, and familiar with our own reactivity patterns. When you achieve this, you will provide a safe presence for your clients..
The ways we can work together:
Supporting you in developing your knowledge and understanding of therapeutic techniques through an IFS lens.
Working with your parts and how they are responding to your clients’ parts. One of the essential tenets of developing your skills as an IFS therapist is your ability to be in “Self” during your work with clients. This is achieved by noticing what is triggered in you and working with that part to uncover the “why.” The more healing you do as a therapist, the more you can support your client’s healing with no agenda— just calm, curious, compassionate presence.
Providing you with guidance and case consultation.
We can work individually or in small groups. Please reach out to discuss how I may support you and your unique needs.
